TIL of Ann Hodges, the only known and confirmed meteorite victim in human history. The meteorite breaks through their ceiling one afternoon in 1954 while she was sleeping on her couch and left a large bruise in her thigh. The meteorite was eventually donated to Alabama Museum of Natural History.
