TIL Mexican drug lord Joaquín Guzmán Loera made an appearance at a restaurant where after taking his seat, his henchmen locked the restaurant doors, collected the cell phones of about 30 diners and instructed them to not be alarmed. After finishing his meal he then left and paid for everyone’s bill.
