TIL David Bowie could barely perform his broadway show in NY, The Elephant Man, the day after John Lennon was shot because there were three empty seats in the front row. Two belonged to John and Yoko. The third was Mark David Chapman’s, Lennon’s killer. Bowie was suppose to be next on his list.
