TIL that on April 6th, 1926 a boy named Phillip McClean was killed when he and his brother came across a Cassowary bird on their property. They tried to kill it, but it kicked Philip in the neck, cutting him, and he bled to death. McClean is the only person to be killed by a Cassowary.
