TIL Malo kingi or the common kingslayer is an Australian Irukandji jellyfish named after Robert King - an American tourist killed by one of them in 2002. They are the smallest jellyfish in the world, the size of a thumbnail and hospitalise 50-100 people each year. Their venom causes haemorrhaging.
