AMCIn Breaking Bad, Walter White becomes a criminal kingpin by cooking meth that is 99 percent pure. Now the AMC hit is entering the Guinness World Records 2014 for achieving a much more admirable 99 percent rating.
Breaking Bad will enter the record books as the “Highest-Rated TV Series,”after receiving a metascore of 99 out of 100 on MetaCritic.com.

Betty White will also enter the records book with “Longest TV Career for an Entertainer (Female),” honoring her 74 years on TV. The 91-year-old made her television debut in 1939 and has starred in such shows as The Golden Girls, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, and The Carol Burnett Show. She currently stars in TV Land’s Hot in Cleveland.
“I was astounded when [GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS] called to tell me. Who? Me!?! It’s such as honor,” White said. “The book has always been fascinating to me. I can’t believe I’m now associated with it.”
Other honorees include Taylor Swift as the “First Solo Female with Two Million-Selling Weeks on the U.S. Albums Chart,” after Speak Now (2010) and Red (2012) sold 1.04 million and 1.20 million copies, respectively.

Justin Bieber will once again enter the record book as “Youngest Solo Artist to Have Five U.S. #1 Albums,” after of My World 2.0, Never Say Never: The Remixes, Under the Mistletoe, Believe, and Believe Acoustic hit No. 1. He was previously inducted as the “First Musician with a Music Channel Viewed Three Billion Times.”
One Direction rounds out entertainment industry inductees with “Most Twitter Followers for a Pop Group” as of May 16, 2013. They currently have more than 14.6 million followers.
Guinness World Records 2014 hits stores Sept. 12.
