When you reach a certain age, parties really change.
Martin Short told Jay Leno on Monday that every four years, he and Tom Hanks attend a colonoscopy party at Steve Martin‘s house.

In perhaps the least fun party of all time, the actors get Jell-O and broth catered, drink their barium and play poker — as much as they can, that is.
“Sometimes there’s only one person at the table,” Short said.
After sleeping over, they spend the morning together at a private clinic, and by noon they’re at the bar raising glasses. Of margarita, not more barium.
