A Kentucky feline who announced his presidential dreams in July praised an Iowa teen’s candidacy — but the cat stopped short of endorsing Deez Nuts.

Limberbutt McCubbins, a Kentucky feline gunning for the Democratic nomination, said Thursday that he was thrilled that he inspired 15-year-old Brady Olson to run under the name Deez Nuts.

Nuts, an independent who is polling at 9% in North Carolina, said he decided to run for president after he read about McCubbins’ bid. The Wallingford, Iowa, teen told the Daily Beast the cat is his top pick for vice president.

McCubbins — whose campaign was launched by his owner, 18-year-old Emilee McCubbins, and her friend 17-year-old Isaac Weiss, both seniors at DuPont Manual High School in Louisville — commended Nuts’ campaign on Facebook on Thursday.

However, the cat did not agree to be No. 2 on the 15-year-old’s ticket.

“All I can say is that I’m pleased that a young person is interested in politics. Hopefully this foray into politics will spur a continued interest,” the cat — or more likely humans from his campaign squad — wrote.

The message was posted alongside an article with the headline “Presidential sensation Deez Nuts does not exist,” which explained that no one in the U.S. is legally named “Deez Nuts.”

Nuts said he would consider running under the Rent is Too Damn High Party, whose founder, Jimmy McMillan (pictured), has not commented on the possibility.

McCubbins and Nuts did not immediately return the Daily News’ requests for further comment.

But Nuts is not letting his fictional name stop his campaign. The hopeful set up a website outlining his platform, which includes tax incentives for companies who create American jobs, strict punishments for undocumented workers and grants for alternative energy work.

While Nuts filed as an independent candidate, he listed a slew of parties he said he would consider running under. Notably absent are the Democratic and Republican parties, but the Marijuana Party, the Modern Whig Party and the American Populist Party all made the shortlist.

Nuts also said he was open to running with the Rent Is Too Damn High Party, the New York-based party that has nominated founder Jimmy McMillan for the mayor of New York City, the governor of the state and president of the U.S.

McMillan has not comment on Nuts.
